Kildare Readers Festival 2026: Reimagined Poetry Workshop for Teens
Take a familiar story and transform it into a poem with a unique twist. Based on Ruth’s debut novel Shorelines, this workshop is great for exploring poetic techniques, developing your voice as a poet, and creating a poem with a lens unique to you.

Octocon 2026: The National Irish Science Fiction Convention
Octocon is a weekend celebration of our favourite stories from books, comics, TV, films and games; from science fiction, fantasy, horror and beyond; attracting artists, writers, film-makers and fans from across the human sphere of influence.
