The Booked Up series aims to introduce teenagers to the vast Irish literature sector and opportunities available. Once a month, Ruth Ennis hosts a workshop or panel all about where a love of books can lead to in the future. We'll be exploring work as a writer, editor, professional reviewer, publisher, book event director, publisher, and much more. We will also be inviting guest speakers to share their experience in the Irish literary industry. This series is part of Ruth’s community outreach initiative as Emerging Writer in Residence at the dlr LexIcon. Suitable for readers aged 13-18 years.
